MCP9701AT-E/LT Overview


The analog sensors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety reasons. A 5-TSSOP, SC-70-5, SOT-353 package protects the analog sensors from damage. A 5 pin is required for proper operation of this sensor. This electronic component contains 6 terminations. Analog sensors can supply 12μA of current when they operate. In the DC circuit, this sensor should provide the maximum voltage of 5.5V. A magnetic switch may provide a minimum DC voltage of 3V in a DC circuit, however. A sensor like this can be powered with 6μA current in theory. Sensors should have a current output of 30mA for optimal performance. Sensors generally output 400mV voltages.
