LTC4240IGN#PBF

The LTC4240IGN#PBF is a high voltage Hot Swap controller designed for use in high-power systems. It is specifically designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage spikes and transients that can occur during power up and power down. This Hot Swap controller allows for safe insertion and removal of circuit boards without causing any disruption to the power supply or the connected components. It features a fast and precise current limit and provides adjustable foldback current limiting to protect against overloads. The controller also has built-in fault protection, including overvoltage and undervoltage lockout, and overcurrent shutdown. The LTC4240IGN#PBF offers a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 44V, making it suitable for a variety of applications. It is capable of delivering up to 10A of peak current and provides accurate monitoring and reporting of current and voltage levels through an I2C interface. With its robust design and comprehensive protection features, the LTC4240IGN#PBF is an ideal choice for high-power system applications, including telecom equipment, servers, storage systems, and industrial control systems.
