LTC4098EUDC#PBF

The LTC4098EUDC#PBF is a high-performance, 2mm x 3mm DFN-10 packaged, standalone USB power manager and Li-Ion/Polymer battery charger. It offers a complete power management solution for portable devices that use a single-cell Li-Ion or Li-Polymer Battery. Featuring a linear charger with a programmable charge current up to 950mA, the LTC4098EUDC#PBF supports USB 2.0 high-speed data rates when used in handheld computers, cameras, and other portable devices. Its USB operating range spans from 4.35V down to 3.45V, which allows for optimum battery charging in USB-powered applications. Furthermore, the LTC4098EUDC#PBF integrates a low-loss, independent power path function, enabling the device to power the system load directly from the external adapter or the battery. This feature is particularly useful in the event of an input power loss or the need to avoid battery drain when the device is not in use. The LTC4098EUDC#PBF also includes built-in protection features like overvoltage protection, undervoltage lockout, thermal shutdown, and battery temperature and current sensing. All these features make it an effective power management solution for a wide range of portable devices.
