Introducing the LTC3879EUD#TRPBF, a high-performance synchronous buck-boost DC/DC controller offered by Analog Devices. This innovative product brings together versatility, efficiency, and reliability, making it ideal for a wide range of applications. The LTC3879EUD#TRPBF is designed to operate from a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 150V, which provides flexibility and ensures compatibility with various power sources. With its advanced architecture, this controller supports seamless transitions between buck, boost, and buck-boost modes, allowing for optimized power delivery. This controller offers a comprehensive set of features, including a built-in N-channel MOSFET gate driver with adaptive shoot-through protection to enhance efficiency and protect against short-circuit conditions. Furthermore, the LTC3879EUD#TRPBF also incorporates phase-lockable frequency spread spectrum (FPSS) capability, enabling it to reduce electromagnetic emissions and meet stringent EMI requirements. In addition to its outstanding performance, this product also boasts advanced fault protection features such as overvoltage protection, undervoltage lockout, and thermal shutdown.
