The LTC3872IDDB#TRPBF is a highly efficient synchronous step-down DC/DC controller with a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 38V. This versatile controller is ideal for a variety of applications, including telecom, automotive, and industrial systems. This product features a high output current capability of up to 25A, making it suitable for demanding power requirements. Additionally, its synchronous rectification topology enables it to achieve high efficiency levels, reducing power dissipation and enhancing overall system efficiency. The LTC3872IDDB#TRPBF offers a fixed frequency peak current mode control, providing excellent line and load transient response. It also includes adjustable soft-start to prevent excessive inrush current during start-up. This controller also features a range of protection features, including short-circuit protection, overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown, ensuring the safety and reliability of your application. The LTC3872IDDB#TRPBF is available in a compact 6mm x 6mm DFN package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications. It operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, further enhancing its versatility. Overall, the LTC3872IDDB#TRPBF is a highly efficient and reliable DC/DC controller, offering flexibility and performance for a wide range of applications.
