Introducing the LTC3862IGN#PBF, a highly efficient synchronous buck-boost DC/DC controller designed for a wide range of applications. This versatile controller operates from input voltages above, below, or equal to the output voltage, making it suitable for portable electronics, industrial equipment, automotive systems, and more. With an input voltage range of 2.75V to 40V, the LTC3862IGN#PBF provides a seamless transition between buck (step-down) and boost (step-up) operation, ensuring continuous power delivery even in fluctuating input conditions. Its high efficiency architecture and high-frequency operation enable compact, cost-effective designs while minimizing power loss. The LTC3862IGN#PBF features a unique constant-frequency architecture that simplifies loop compensation and reduces external component count, making it easier to design and optimize applications. It also offers a wide range of adjustable output voltage and current limit options, allowing for greater flexibility and customization based on specific system requirements. Other key features include programmable soft-start, input/output voltage monitor, and overvoltage and overcurrent protection.
