Introducing the LTC3831EGN#TRPBF, a highly efficient synchronous step-down DC/DC controller from Linear Technology. With an input voltage range of 3V to 30V, the LTC3831EGN#TRPBF can handle a variety of power sources, making it suitable for a diverse range of systems. It features a wide adjustable output voltage range with an output current of up to 20A, enabling it to power a wide variety of loads. The LTC3831EGN#TRPBF incorporates a current mode architecture that provides fast transient response and excellent loop stability. It also includes a comprehensive set of protection features, including input undervoltage lockout, overvoltage protection, and overtemperature protection. This controller offers a high level of efficiency, with up to 95% efficiency achievable across a wide range of load currents. It also features a selectable pulse-skipping mode, which optimizes efficiency during light load conditions. With its compact 16-lead SSOP package, the LTC3831EGN#TRPBF is easy to integrate into any design.
