Introducing the LTC3814EFE-5#TRPBF, a high-performance synchronous step-down DC/DC controller designed for a wide range of power applications. With a wide input voltage range of 4V to 60V and an adjustable output voltage down to 0.8V, this controller offers flexibility and versatility, making it suitable for a variety of power supply designs. The LTC3814EFE-5#TRPBF features a high switching frequency, up to 550kHz, which allows for the use of small external components, reducing overall solution size. Its proprietary architecture ensures low minimum on-time and high duty cycles, making it ideal for high-step-down ratio applications. This controller incorporates a high-current gate driver with adaptive shoot-through protection, preventing any potential damage to power MOSFETs during high-frequency operation. It also includes a comprehensive set of protection features, such as thermal shutdown, output overvoltage protection, and input undervoltage lockout, ensuring system reliability and safeguarding against fault conditions. The LTC3814EFE-5#TRPBF is available in a compact 20-pin TSSOP package, allowing for easy PCB layout.
