Introducing the LTC3621EMS8E-25#PBF, a high efficiency, fixed frequency synchronous step-down DC/DC converter from Linear Technology. Designed to provide seamless power management in a wide range of applications, this product offers an impressive input voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V, allowing it to be used with various power sources, including single-cell Li-Ion batteries and a range of DC power supplies. With its integrated low resistance N-channel MOSFETs, the LTC3621EMS8E-25#PBF delivers an output voltage of 2.5V with a maximum output current of 2A, making it suitable for powering a wide range of electronic devices. The device features a highly efficient synchronous buck architecture, which enables it to achieve up to 95% efficiency across a wide load range, resulting in minimal power loss and longer battery life. This versatile converter also offers a programmable frequency range of 300kHz to 3MHz, allowing designers to optimize efficiency and minimize component size based on their specific application requirements.
