LTC1480CS8#PBF

The LTC1480CS8#PBF is a versatile RS-485 transceiver product from Linear Technology. This device is designed to provide robust communication in industrial, automotive and commercial applications where long distances and noise immunity are required. The LTC1480CS8#PBF is equipped with a differential input that makes it compatible with all RS-485 standards. It features a high bus fault capacitance of up to 60pF, allowing it to drive long cables without losing signal integrity. With its low quiescent current of 300μA and shutdown mode that reduces current consumption to 1μA, this transceiver is an energy-efficient solution. Additionally, the LTC1480CS8#PBF offers a high level of electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection, up to ±15kV on the bus pins. This ensures reliable operation in harsh environments and reduces the risk of data loss or damage caused by ESD events. With its small form factor and extended temperature range from -40°C to 85°C, the LTC1480CS8#PBF is suitable for a wide range of applications. Whether used in industrial automation, automotive systems, or communication networks, this RS-485 transceiver delivers reliable and high-performance communication.
