The device can be used for precise position sensing in a wide range of applications.</p><p><br/></p><p>The analog output features a characteristic unipolar magnetic response, capable of driving 0.6V in the absence of a magnetic field and increasing voltage in the presence of a south magnetic pole. For applications sensing one magnetic pole, this response maximizes the output dynamic range. Four sensitivity options further maximize output swing based on desired sensing range.</p><p><br/></p><p>The device is powered from a 3.3V or 5V supply. It senses magnetic flux perpendicular to the top of the package, with two package options offering different sensing directions.</p><p><br/></p><p>The device uses a ratiometric architecture that minimizes errors due to VCC tolerances when the external analog-to-digital converter (ADC) is referenced to the same VCC. Additionally, the device features magnet temperature compensation to counteract magnet drift for linear performance over a wide temperature range.</p><p><br/></p><p>A1 to A4 options support a temperature range of –40°C to +125°C.
