Common Mode Choke Tutorial

The Common Mode Choke, also known as a CM choke, is an essential component used in electronic circuits to mitigate electromagnetic interference (EMI). It is designed to reduce high-frequency noise and interference by isolating the common-mode signals and preventing them from coupling into sensitive parts of the circuit. The CM choke works on the principle of inductance. It consists of two coils wound on a common magnetic core, with the windings connected in a way that cancels out common-mode currents.
